The Playhouse is a three-bed, two-bath located in Pacific City, Oregon, and truly a beach Playhouse! Featuring a large cedar deck with full Southwest exposure for barbecuing, relaxation, and beautiful views of rolling hills of dune-grass. The home is also adorned with a spacious living room, wood-burning fireplace, unique decor, flat-screen TVs, and a fully stocked kitchen. This rental is complete with access to bikes as well as unique beach access via a unique wooden boardwalk. Come see what adventures await you at the Playhouse!
In the garage, guests will have access to four bicycles with helmets that are perfect for exploring the two miles of paved Shorepine Village pathways.

Great Location!

We really enjoyed our stay! The walking paths through the neighborhood worked out great for our young kids and our dog. The house was cozy and casual and the beds and bathrooms were nice and clean. When we climbed the boardwalk path up to the dune our kids both exclaimed "wow!"
Proximity to the beach is fantastic, though the climb back up the dune is a little steep. We packed our youngest as we went back up but our 7 year old had no problems. Easy access to Lincoln City and Tillamook for day trips too.

The property was well equipped, and the house and location were ideal for our needs. We have 2 small suggestion2: Provide a site map of the Kiwanda walking paths (if there is one)
and a TV directory of the subscribed television stations.

We are remodeling our home and have stayed in five Airbnb/Vacasa/VRBO homes in the last 4 months. The Playhouse was the best of all five experiences (Palm Springs to Pacific City). The unit was equipped with everything we needed, it was super clean and when we had an issue (and we had very few) someone from the Open Next mtce. team was there in minutes. We have already recommended this unit to several others and we would come back in a nanosecond. Our Labs loved the beach!!! Thank you

We have been coming to the Tierra del Mar/Pacific City area for decades--it is our retreat of choice from the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives. The accommodations at the Playhouse were perfect! A thoughtfully laid out floor plan, new appliances, a nice, semi-private deck area, easy access to the beach via the boardwalk, and a short walk to Cape Kiwanda with all of its wonders--what's not to love? Already looking forward to our next opportunity to escape!

Playhouse in Pacific City

House was very comfortable and clean! Great patio and deck area to relax and visit on with privacy and beauty. A two minute walk to a beautiful beach. We loved it! The team at Open Nest were very helpful in booking this home as we needed to re-book after it was discovered one home was not wheelchair accessible, and we have a family member that is in a wheelchair. They worked hard to help us find one that would work and make our trip successful!

We rented a house from Open Nest in Pacific City and loved the experience. The house was great, location was great. Fairly priced, No AirBnB fees. We would definitely go back. Playhouse was a great house for our family.
